SRCTECH — Smart Resources & Computing Technologies is a research and technology company that develops advanced hardware and software solutions for scientific, industrial, and energy applications.
Founded in 2015 by Prof. Dr. Gökhan SÜRÜCÜ through a techno-entrepreneurship project supported by the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Industry and Technology, SRCTECH combines academic expertise, scientific research, engineering experience, and modern software technologies to transform innovative ideas into practical and commercially viable products.
Our multidisciplinary expertise includes computational materials science, artificial intelligence, high-performance computing, engineering simulation, data analytics, process optimization, advanced materials, thin-film technologies, prototype development, and digital transformation.
By working across both hardware and software, SRCTECH supports the entire innovation cycle—from material and system design to simulation, optimization, prototyping, production planning, and commercialization.
Our Flagship Technology Platforms
SRCTECH focuses on two major technology platforms: ULAM, developed for atomistic modeling and computational materials discovery, and SENTOR, designed for solar-cell engineering, production simulation, and smart energy investment analysis.
Together, these platforms demonstrate SRCTECH’s ability to integrate scientific knowledge, artificial intelligence, simulation technologies, and engineering software into comprehensive digital R&D environments.
ULAM — National Atomistic Modeling Platform
ULAM is a TÜBİTAK-supported atomistic modeling and materials discovery platform designed to make density functional theory–based computational research more accessible, efficient, and reproducible.
The platform provides a unified environment for crystal structure generation, automated DFT workflows powered by Quantum ESPRESSO and/or VASP, high-performance computing management, autonomous error detection and recovery, materials property calculations, data management, visualization, and scientific reporting.
ULAM also incorporates AI-assisted capabilities for materials screening, stability assessment, and candidate prioritization. By combining computational science with intelligent workflow automation, the platform helps universities, research centers, and industrial R&D teams manage complex materials simulations more effectively.
ULAM is designed to accelerate advanced materials research while strengthening Türkiye’s national capabilities in scientific software and computational materials technologies.

SENTOR — From Solar Cell Design to Smart Energy Investment
SENTOR is an advanced simulation, optimization, and decision-support platform that brings solar-cell design, manufacturing processes, risk analysis, and energy investment planning together in a single digital environment.
Its proprietary solar-cell simulation infrastructure enables researchers and engineers to model different cell architectures, material combinations, device parameters, and operating conditions. Multiple design alternatives can be evaluated before physical prototype production, helping identify structures with strong performance potential.
SENTOR also models manufacturing operations through discrete-event simulation. Production times, equipment capacities, resource utilization, workforce requirements, waiting periods, and potential bottlenecks can be analyzed to improve production efficiency and support capacity planning.
Monte Carlo simulation and sensitivity analysis capabilities enable users to investigate the effects of uncertainty in material costs, production times, energy prices, system performance, maintenance expenses, and environmental conditions.
For energy investments, SENTOR supports the calculation and comparison of capital expenditure, operating and maintenance costs, projected energy generation, unit energy cost, payback period, and project profitability. This allows technically feasible and economically sustainable investment alternatives to be identified through data-driven analysis.
By connecting technology design, manufacturing planning, risk assessment, and economic feasibility, SENTOR provides an integrated engineering environment for researchers, manufacturers, engineering companies, and energy investors.
